John Tay ft. A M 4 N - [Alternate] Knuckles' Theme (YM2612 + SN76489)

So I tried writing Knuckles' alternate theme, with the first 5 measures (the intro and bassline before the main melody for those who don't know). I went for a more bombastic big band feel with the original FM instruments present in S&K's Knuckles theme, with a wood bass from Knuckles' Chaotix to fit. Unfortunately after writing I got stuck with what else to do; do I write an original melody? What should I do for the backing? (Initially I went for a more dissonant chord to be played in the same fashion as heard here, but I had trouble finding a better piano patch) What the hell am I supposed to do next?
So, I took my idea to my Discord music text channel and see how people would react. A M 4 N reached out and wrote the entire S&K Knuckles section (with the PSG/ square lead), and let me add on to it (after I asked, millions of thanks to them btw). By that time I decided that this would be brilliant with the Egg Dragoon Mk. II theme from Sonic Forces, not only because it was a great goofy boss theme written perfectly for Knuckles' personality (or at least that's what I had in mind), but because it made sense chronologically; being that Knuckles got tricked into working with Eggman.
