"Although Sonic social media manager Katie Chrzanowski and Stealth stated that these were new arrangements by Jun Senoue, it's unclear to what extent he was involved, as some tracks are identical to their prototype counterparts, while others sound less refined, suggesting that they originate from a prototype that predates the November 3rd one. The replacement tracks use a very old version of the Universal Voice Bank that the prototype versions of the Competition Menu, Level Clear, and Save Menu themes used, lending further credence to this notion."
