It was deplorable of me to not cover my favourite out of the Sky Fortress themes until now. It's as if Cube Corp.'s Sandopolis Act 2 bass patch was tailored particularly for Sky Fortress Act 3. Indeed, it's evident that for Sonic 4 Episode II's OST, Senoue drew heavy inspiration from Masanori Hikichi rather than Nakamura, like in the first episode.
