El wondered: what would happen if Kirby faced an enemy with the same kind of protection? What if two forces, each bound by plot armor, clashed in an impossible battle?
Searching through universal-ending possibilities, El found one scenario: a glitch known as Nodus Tollens. This anomaly came from a twisted wish made by Zero in an early Kirby universe, where Zero had used Nova’s power to ask for the same indestructible essence that Kirby had. The wish was granted, but it fused Zero and Nova into a paradoxical force—one with an endless loop of power that could stalemate Kirby indefinitely.
When Kirby encounters this being, he quickly realizes something strange: if he doesn’t engage it, nothing happens. It won’t attack unless he does, yet every time he fights, it ends in a draw, restarting the loop over and over. To defeat this “Endemy,” Kirby must resist the urge to fight, recognizing that the entity’s nature only traps him if he engages.
Watching from afar, El sees this experiment end in failure, frustrated by Kirby’s refusal to fall into the trap. He then devises even more sinister "Endemies," hoping to chip away at Kirby’s willpower, to drive him closer to madness and make him desperate for power and revenge. Only then, El believes, will Kirby step into his ultimate trap.
Meanwhile, Kirby ponders to himself:
