Greetings everyone! After a 4-month hiatus due to the workload of college, I have returned to uploading -- I am well aware this is my first upload in 2021. Earlier this year, the idea of remixing Jungle Zone (a track that I never covered) in the Sonic 1/2 style appeared. As a result, I laid this idea down into my DAW with whatever spare time remained and took it from there. For the chords (the instrument that plays them and the notes), I got inspired by an already existing Jungle Zone Genesis remix. Still, I ensured that this remix incorporated original ideas, such as the backing PSG melody, different lead instruments, and an extended loop. The tempo of this track is slower than what some of you might be used to, but this is to account for those who played the PAL version (which features slower music). Essentially, I chose an "intermediate" speed to appease both regions. By the way, this upload marks the beginning of a new style (for the thumbnails and visualizers) that I plan to stick with if you all are in favour of it. Enjoy!
