I was in a rut on what to practice, but this Melty Blood meme from Tekushi got my brain thinking in the wildest ways: twitter.com/Tekushi/status/148...
There's a tonal shift partway through, and that's to pay homage to some of that cultural flair in the original. Initially, I was pretty intimidated and I thought about muting the tracks to just keep it a straightforward rap beat. Took the time to TRY to learn some latin-style drum beats.
