While TORIENA was responsible for the arrangement of this track, the official release of the game's soundtrack revealed Jun Senoue was its original composer. This revelation led me to compare it Cyber Station and further compare that to its beta version so I could figure out which Vacuum/Xpand!2 patches it originally used (and in turn, which Genesis patches it was intended to use).
It was a long and complicated process and I couldn't possibly explain it all in a single video description.
TORIENA's involvement was also why I removed the intro percussion as it seemed like something added by her rather than Jun. Besides that, I also noticed many similarities between this track and Panic Puppet Act 1 from the Genesis version of Sonic 3D Blast, which Senoue was also responsible for. Thus, that's where most of the patches and presets were pulled from.
